Join us as we celebrate (some of) the BEST moments of 2023!

This senior is artistic, creative, daring, and bright—and brought celebrity vibes. This image was their family’s chosen Wall Display, and we agree: it’s captivating!

WOW! A saucy night club style scene, a jaw dropping moment in the car, AND a romantic day-date walk downtown?! The glamorous couple proves you can have it all.

This beautiful surrogate momma came back for her third session, celebrating with this precious girl’s dads—all the way from Germany! We are so honored to be able to tell their story.

Go Ducks! This senior came to us post-graduation to capture the impactful transition from high school to college at University of Oregon. We started her session on campus and explored the nearby parks too—capturing the start of something great!

Here is a family of many talents—their Sheldon High School senior among them. From swimming to taekwondo and more, it is no surprise he has his sights on big things to come.

This dynamic boy mom has got her hands—and heart—full. This was her second session with us, and we loved sharing these moments with her family this time too!

This fun-filled family wanted their family portraits on their new property—a personal and stunning location to adventure through. With their memories just beginning in this space, here’s to many more years of love and joy to share there!

We have had the honor of capturing this family from the beginning: (1) a fall engagement in Portland, (2) a wedding at Water Oasis in Newberg, (3) a maternity session showcasing the Portland downtown skyline, and now (4) a cozy newborn session in their home.

This year, this author returned to us for her third custom branding portrait experience. This time, we went to her hometown to walk the streets that are going to be powerfully shared in her upcoming project: a memoir.

On a beautiful spring afternoon we met this passionate momma with her boys and dogs under the blossoms of this bright magnolia tree! We love that for her second session with us, she brought along her loved ones—we can still hear the laughter they shared.

Each being musicians, Heather Mills (who plays trumpet with Oregon Brass Society) and her assistant, Jacquelyn (with a degree in worship arts from Bushnell University) are thrilled whenever a musician reaches out for branding images. This year, two of our favorites include this tenor saxophone jazzer and this classically minded bassoonist—both of incredible talent!

Her little bundle of joy arrived shortly after this expectant momma’s maternity session. What a delight it was to celebrate before her arrival!

Additional works of art from around the world were added to our Fine Art listings. This year, Heather Mills created scenic pieces in the French Riviera (pictured: the côte d'azur outside of Nice), along U.S.’s east coast, and more.

With these bright eyes, these vibrant memories are just the beginning for this family of 3, whose album-cover vibes made the wall in their home.

This Marist High School senior and his family were dreaming of a perfect fall session. We loved the vision and the outcome, especially at this stop alongside the river.

One of the GREATEST moments of all—he asked… and she said, “YES!”

We had around 30 business professionals in the studio for branding portraits this year, and almost another 30 others on-location at their own offices or beyond: from authors to real estate agents, from health care experts to financial advisors, from copywriters to entrepreneurs, from CEOs to VPs, and more! Here are just a few of the many remarkable professionals we had the honor of working with in 2023.

During the peak of senior portrait season, we met this remarkable senior athlete and outdoorsman from Oakridge High School along with his loving family.

As always, we created a boudoir Best of 2023 post in our private group; ladies, request to join! We’ll sum up the year with this image—it was a jaw-dropping year indeed!
