This extended family session took place in the backyard of a Eugene home, where four generations gathered to celebrate a milestone: 49 years of marriage. It was a rare opportunity for the entire family — including elderly parents, adult children, their spouses, and grandchildren — to be in one place at the same time.

A Tailored Experience for a Once-in-a-Lifetime Gathering
The session was planned around a couple celebrating their almost-golden anniversary. They brought together their two adult sons, their spouses, their children, and the couple’s elderly parents — a group of ten in total.
As with all of our sessions, we started with an in-home styling consultation to coordinate a color palette and outfit selection. We helped make sure everyone — from great grandparents to great grandkids — felt comfortable, cohesive, and confident on session day.
On-Site Styling and a Relaxed Session Flow
The session took place in the family’s own garden — a meaningful location with a relaxed atmosphere. We arranged professional hair and makeup for the anniversary matriarch, allowing her to feel camera-ready without stress.
